Terms and Conditions.
All products made by Sweet Ash Treats are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
Ingredients
All baked goods my contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts, or other allergens.
It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform me of any allergens prior to booking. It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform their guests of all allergy information; Sweet Ash Treats will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of purchased goods.
All products are made to be eaten the day of celebration.
Orders
I prefer at least a two-week notice (14 days) for all orders, as I am typically booked in advance. However, where available, I will accept orders with less than a 14-day notice. Last-minute orders may be susceptible to a rush fee.
Any product ordered from an image or photo of a product produced by another baker will be made as an interpretation, not an exact replica of the product in image or photo.
Deposits
For orders of $80 or more, Sweet Ash Treats requires a 50% retainer fee within 24 hours of booking your order to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your scheduled pickup or delivery date. For orders of $79 or less, please be prepared to pay in full upon booking if you are paying with a card.
Where I have produced what is quoted and invoiced, but the Customer does not accept the finished product, the deposit will not be refunded. The Customer can choose to pay the remainder and take the product/s, or leave them at no extra cost.
Cancellations
The retainer fee is refundable up until seven (7) days before your scheduled pickup or delivery date.
In instances I cancel the booking due to illness or any unforeseen circumstance that affects my ability to deliver the ordered product, the deposit will be refunded within seven (7) days of notification to the Customer. If the cancellation is less than seven (7) days prior to scheduled pick up or delivery date, there will be absolutely no refunds. Any non-refunded balance may be credited toward future purchases
Postponement
If, for any reason, the event is required to be postponed, please contact me immediately.
The new date proposed with be subject to availability.
Final Balances and Pickups
If paying with cash, the final payment is due on or before the pickup and before the product leaves the premises. Correct change is recommended, as I may not have exact change on the premises.
It is the responsibility of the Customer to check the state of the product before leaving the premises. Once the item has left the premises, the Customer is responsible for ensuring the product gets to its destination safely and is stored as instructed.
Delivery
I offer delivery within a one (1) hour radius of Grand Rapids, MI. Delivery is charged at my discretion.
Once the product has been delivered to the Customer in appropriate conditions, it is then up to the Customer to store and care for the product. If anything happens to the product after this exchange, I will not be held liable for any damages.
Publication
Sweet Ash Treats reserves the right to use any image of a product made for publication at a later date.
